    Original '67 frame stencil

I removed the rocker panels from my '67 this weekend and found the original frame stencil. It reads (upside down):

    3900200-34-GC
    303196-6/8/67

If someone will tell me how to post the photo on here, I'll post it.
    Pretty cool to find it.

For pictures you first have to get them hosted on the internet. After that you place a link at the bottom of the post page in the Optional Image URL box. Web hosting such as Village Photos lets you upload 25 FREE! Some internet providers also offer you web space to keep files like pictures. At the West Regional the chassis team noticed my frame stencil.

      Kevin,

Is it possible to see it with a mirror, without taking the rocker panels off.

          Jerry,

They didn't need a mirror to see mine or take the rockers off, just look up into the space between the panel and frame.

Robert: thanks for posting it for me!

Each line is equal length: 10-7/8" long. The font is 3/4" high, and the space between the two lines is about 1/4". The color of the font is white.

              The two lines read:
              3900200-34-GC
              303196 -- 6/8/67

My car was built near the middle of June, '67.

Hope that helps someone out there!

Tony, I took the liberty to post your stencil image for you. I also recently exposed the stencil on my '71 by removing the rocker panel. Below is an inverted picture of it.

Hi Robert. Thanks for posting the photo of my frame stencil. Mine isn't as clear your '71. It looks like you painted the frame except for the original frame stencil. I'm thinking about doing the same thing--not sure yet. If mine was as fresh looking as yours, I would do the same thing you did.

                  Thanks again.
