1960 C1 Tail Pipes and Cylinder Head Painting

I have two questions, hopefully somebody can give me an accurate answer

1. How far beyond the bumper should the tail pipe extend?? If at all.

2. Sould the cylinder heads be painted orange on the inside where the aluminum manifold meets or should they remain cast iron on the inside. My car has the 2x4 245hp.

I extend mine out just enough to keep the water out of the bumper. I think factory was inside the bumper and that's why they rusted out. The intake side of the heads is bare cast iron.
