c2 rear axle bind

I am restoring a 67 coupe, I just put the rear suspension together and notice that the axles bind against the stub axles in the differential,The asembly is complete and is stll on jack stands I know that once some wieght is on the suspension this will not be a problem'what I want to know is it normal for this to happen??? Should I die grind the axle??? Or not worry about it????

As Bill replied, no problem. When I put the rear suspension together during my '67 body off project, I had exactly the same concerns, and posted the same question, but everything worked out fine, although it's hard to believe at this point in your project. I even put several hundred pounds if sand bags on the rear of the frame to test it, but it's just not the same as when the car is finished, body mounted, weight on the wheels and suspension settled.
