I recently restored a 66 mid year. I installed stock shocks on the car. Does anyone know if a better set of shocks, KYB's maybe or new gas shocks would improve the handling? Thanks #33,398. Dean

Re: mid year handling
Dean, i installed the KYB'S on my 67 coupe and also noticed a huge diference, while still running the bias ply tires. Hoping to pickup a set of bolt on's at Carlisle this summer and will install radials on em. I think this will be a bigger improvement in overall ride and performance. regards Brian- Top

Re: mid year handling
Hi Dean:
As an after thought You may wish to consider a composite rear spring if handling and ride are the target and correctness in not of your concern. These springs when combined with the shocks mentioned provide the best all around performance to be had without major modifactions to the suspension.
