I have a Borg Warner T-10 with wildly varied date codes (main case 12/62, tailhousing 4/58 & side cover 12/61), which I am guessing were changed over the years. I was wondering, in what order was the T-10 assembled. Was the main case the starting point? Is there a date range for an acceptable assembly of the case/tailhousing/side cover? My plan is to look for dated tailhousings and side covers that are much closer to my main case.
Thanks, Joseph Rock

On my '60 the main case was about a month earlier than the tailhousing and side cover. The stamped assy date was within 2 weeks of the tail housing/side cover dates. What assy date is stamped on the main case?
Hope this helps, Ted
