paint codes

i am redoing my 1958 vette paint and am trying to verify some of the paint codes and issues with painting so i have several questions

1/ paint code & specs for steel wheel rimes for 1958, should be silver but whats the code and type

2/ paint codes for 1958, are these correct ??
2703 charcoal for trunk & under deck lid
2702 turquoise body colour
2697 fender insert area, is it white or ivory

3/ also i have heard that acrylic lacquer cannot be used anymore, what is being used as a replacement paint system

Try www.corvettepaintcodes.com 2703,2702 & 2697 are correct for DuPont. 2697 is Snowcrest white.

Per Noland:
Turquoise had Ivory as cove and convertible top could be black or white.

"Trim colors (charcoal in your case) were designated for folding top lid well, rear compartment lid load area, folding top lid panel (inner), rear compartment lid (inner), cowl side trim panel, instrument panel, instrument panel extension," etc. etc.

Not sure this is correct but that is what Noland has in his book.

Acrylic Lacquer is available here in Michigan. PPG has it.
