    1970 Control Arm Shafts/Hardware

In the JG it states shafts are either painted or not. They would be installed with the A arms after blackout operation, so they too should be semi gloss black?Or did the A arms get painted seperatly and no consideration was taken to paint the control shafts,so they are natural finish. But why then would the attaching bolts and washers be painted. They would be installed after the blackout operation.

On 70s corvettes the A-Arms are painted separately, semi-gloss to gloss black. All the shafts, nuts, bolts and washers are natural. Midyear cars are all black painted as an assembly.
