    I've seen 1271 for 1957 and 6-1271 for 1958.

I'm sure someone will come up with more accurate information.

You need to be careful with so little information... You're quoting the cast number of a given WCFB carb's air horn. But, the complete assy was made up of throttle plate, main body, air horn and choke assy. Each had identifiable numbers (throttle plate can't be seen when the carb is assembled) and it takes ALL of them to match for a given application...

On late 1957 Corvette WCFB carbs, the current edition of the Judging Guide tells you to identify a 2655S by the airhorn having a 6-1271 casting and the body having a 0-108 or 0-1108 cast number. The Catch-22 is so many of these carbs went through independent rebuild cycles in their prior life that they can wind up being a 'Heinz 57' collection of various fit-together/work-alike components!
