C2 clip colors

Members,
I'm looking for information about the color of two engine clips found on the '65.

Flat clip that holds the steel line that supplies vacuum to the distributor advance. I've seen both engine orange and black.

Clip that holds rubber hose from oil filler pipe to back of carburator. Clip looks like it has a black phosphate finish, but mine is also colored with engine orange.

Both clips should be engine orange - they were part of the engine assembly as-shipped from Flint Engine.
