    '73 A.I.R. pump

    Hello All,

A friend of mine was over with his new '73 SB coupe. He was asking if his car originally had the A.I.R pump. There is no plugs in the manifolds and no spare belt groove on any of the pulleys to show there was originally a pump.

Could someone tell me which engines in '73 had thae pumps. As usual thanks for the help.
    Regards,
    Kurt

    Kurt-----

ALL 1973 Corvettes were originally equipped with AIR. No exceptions, at all.

In this case, someone has, apparently, removed and replaced the exhaust manifolds and has removed the add-on waterpump front pulley used for the AIR pump drive.

Hi Kurt, some 73 SB's came with the A.I.R. system called NB2. So check your stamp pad for a suffix of CLC,CLH,CLB or CLS. without NB2 is CLA,CKZ,CLD and CLR.
