    Questions on available options 65-67

    Here's my 2 questions..
    1. Was the 65-67 327/350hp ever available with both power steering and air conditioning?
    2. If so, did that option use the SHP deep 2 groove pulleys on the crank & waterpump, 1 groove deep alt, and 1 groove deep P/S pump or revert back to the standard depth pulleys like the 300 hp cars?

    Thanks

Yes to question 1. Question 2 may be too

broad in that there might have been a variety of changes in the 3 years. Noland's book should have some pictures.

My 67 L79 has C60, N40, and K19 A.I.R. It has the deep groove pulleys on the crank and water pump, but the PS pump uses the stamped steel (509?) pulley, not the cast iron unit. The alternator uses the deep groove pulley, but if I recall it is the offset version due to the groove that aligns correctly....one belt forward. It is up on a lift with the rear end out.....and a car underneath so I can't check....Craig

Craig, when and if you can, I would really appreciate a picture or two of the pulley/belt routing. Is your Alternator belt on the groove closest to the block? Also, do you have 2 grooves or 3 on the crank pulley and where does the P/S belt run? I'm going to install A/C in my car on the corrects mounts, and I would like to use the belt/pulley arrangement that GM designed. Thanks.
