A fellow NCRS member pointed out to me that the reproduction Vehicle Emission Control Decal on my '74 Pt.# 346209 was not the correct dimension at approx.
3 3/32 X 6 1/2 inches. Does anyone know the right size and where I can get one? Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,
I just happen to have a V.E.C.I (vehicle emission control information) decal for 1974 L-82 pt no. 346712. top left corner says ZF 350 cu.in. HI PERF. GM 104-4. Decal size is 2" X 6 1/16", it is a GM restoration part and I didn't need to use it because the original decal was still in excellent shape, but before I made that decision, I checked the size and the information and surprise,it was an exact copy. Usually most of those copied decals have minor changes, such as size of decal, size of lettering, switching the information around on the decal. I ordered the decal from CLASSIC CAMARO PARTS about three years ago for my 1974 Z/28 type LT. After checking THE CORVETTE BLACK BOOK it is the exact decal for both cars.All three decals for that year, the ZB(base engine),ZH(454 engine),and ZF(L-82 engine) are the same size.

Hi Bill,
I've got that original intake manifold #340261 dated J43(November 4,1973) which is four months into production with EGR, water neck,and vaccum port.Just incase your thinking of going back to stock.

Hello Ken, thanks for your input. My car has the base L48 engine so the sticker has a "ZB" in the top left corner. As to the manifold, I have an Edelbrook manifold on the car and the original stored under my workbench. Bill
