    seat frame cross bar

I bought a jig saw puzzle & in putting the pieces together I seem to be missing the cross piece for the rear seat mounting assy. or the holes just don't line up my assy manual doesn't show very clearly are the bolts supposed to be that hard to get to ? THX Jeff

    Re: seat frame cross bar

Jeff, When I did my '58 I cut down 1" x 1" x 1/8" angle as shown in the AIM and welded a stud to them to receive the seat frame. Its difficult to explain here but look at section J sheet 2 and you will see what needs to be done, and yes the bolts are difficult to get to.

Mark Thanks , that is what I thought I would end up doing . Thank goodness I own a metal fabrication shop with welding & machining capabilities looks like I am going to be using them
