    Part # questions for Joe

Joe, I'm looking for the correct part number for the add-on P/S crank pulley and waterpump pulley that fits the 65 327/350 with P/S and A/C. Also, was there a special compressor deep groove pulley used on the SHP engines?

    I currently have a 3858533 crank pulley which I think is correct, a 3770509 P/S pump pulley.

I'm adding a stock A/C setup to a 327/350 with P/S setup. I know I have to change the waterpump pulley, P/S pump pulley (currently 3834720) and add another groove to the crank pulley.

    Thanks, Paul

PN's for pulleys are given in your copy of the '65 AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual). The AC compressor was supplied to the final assy line as a complete assembly with pulley/clutch installed and only version of the compressor assy was used on all engine configurations in '65.

Thanks Jack. This whole mess is going in a 64, which I do have the AIM for, but there was no P/S for the SHP cars that year. Guess I'll have to get a copy of the correct pages from someone elses 65 AIM.

The add-on pulley for 64 and 65 was the same. GM #3751232. Better yet, it's still available from GM.
