    power glide/pulley

I'm restoring my 56 that has a 265 dual quad with attached to a power glide. Before I owned the car someone attached a trani cooler to the front of the radiator and ran the cooling lines to the rear of the trani. There, they were attached to the factory orifice which were installed for cooling lines for a sedan which had a trani cooler incorporated into the radiator. My understanding is the Corvette didn't have a trani cooler in 56 and the PowerGlides were the same in the Corvettes and sedans except where the shifter was attached. My question is, what was used to plug the orifices for the Corvette PowerGlides? I've researched NCRS manuals, restoration guides and parts suppliers and I haven't been able to come up with an answer.

Also, I'm trying to determine if the pulleys installed on my motor are correct. Are there specific markings I should be looking for? Is it suppose to be deep V design?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thank you for your response. It is cast iron. The 56 Corvette uses the 55 passenger shop maunal and supplement. The pictures and descriptions clearly indicate cooling lines attaching to the rear trani and running to the cooler contained within the radiator. But this was for passenger cars but yet the transmissions in both the Corvette and sedans were suppose to be the same except were the shifter is attached. Hence my original question.
