I ordered new plastic door panel bezels for my '85. This is the plastic piece that fits around the door handle, power lock switch, map light, etc.
The original bezel has a semi gloss finish. The aftermarket replacement bezel is flat and not even close to a match.
Before I started experimenting around and possibly ruin a $40 bezel, I though I'd see if anyone else had encountered this and solved the problem.
Any tips as to how I might get the flat looking bezel to match the rest of the plastic interior components? Is there a possibility that I can maybe buff a semi gloss into it with some compound or will I just have to paint it and be done with it?
Thanks for any advice.
