    2" heat riser

Hi all, what is the best way to free up - clean the butterfly valve? Use WD-40 and just work it back and forth? I read in my service manual about some kind of cleaner, but not realy sure what they were talking about. Mine works, but is getting a little stiff.

    Thanks
    Chasman

    Chasman----

Use GM #1052627 heat valve lubricant. It's the best thing ever available. It's also one of the best things you can use to free up frozen bolts, nut, etc. Not if you live in California, though. It's no longer sold in California due to air pollution regulations.

Thanks, Joe. I'm in Indy so I will order some this week.
