Does anyone have any pictures or brochures from the Feb.1957 Daytona Speedweeks?

I will have my unrestored 1957 Nassau/Daytona Corvette factory team car on display for the first time in 47 years at the Bloomington Gold Special Collection and I am looking for a brochure produced by Chevrolet called the The Story of Daytona 1957. I have one for 1956 and will swap copies.

Joe, I've got one dated Feb 57, published by Chevrolet, but it is entitled FLYING MILE AND ACCELERATION RUN---official results datyona beach, Florida February, 1957. Is this what you are lookng for?

The one I have for 1956 is called The Daytona Beach Story 1956..for '57 they may have called it the Flying Mile and acceleration Run..

Will you be at Bloomington..I would sure like to see it.

No Joe I won't be at Bloomington, but when, if ever, you come to here to inspect/obtain a copie the Work Order for your car you can look at it them.

P.S. As far as the ebay item you sent me, go for it, but as I read it, it sounds like he THINKS it's for a FI?????????????? And WTH would you do with it anyway if you don't own the car?

Unless it is a hoax..I know of a car that may be it!

I am planning to come to see you..but I have been out of the country, then sick.

Just now getting back to normal..and getting ready for Bloomington. I have come across lots of new old great stuff...that I can show you when I come up for a visit.

I had a chance to visit with Paul Goldsmith and he was very helpful. I may stop to see him along with the Nassau/Daytona car on my way to Chicago.

Now I need to find the 1957 version of The Story of Daytona! I have the 56 brochure.

I am bringing my original unrestored 1957 Nassau/Daytona car to display at this years Bloomington Special Collection. It will be the debut appearance after being stored in a Chicago garage for 46 years.
