for all you PO2 guys an gals that have redone the center caps of the PO2 wheel cover. when you drill out the revits on the back an take that part out is that a one piece part? with the clear plastic built on? could you take it apart an paint the flags? are is that to much work, an just buy the repo center parts to redo your center caps? also can you find small revits that size?

It is a single piece of plastic as I recall and painted from the back side. You can buy the plastic emblem part or you can buy the entire piece that costs around $50.00. If you opt for just replacing the plastic emblem, you will need to do surgery to the rivets. I have never done them but I am sure something can be done. Depends on how particular you are. You could probably hot glue them in place. You may be able to drill the rivet area and install a small self tapping machine screw (that be best). You can get small self tapping machine screws with a hex head at most good hardware stores that have lots of fasteners. Like I said, I have never done them. If there is enough material to drill into, it can be done. Use a very small washer under the screw. Later, Terry- Top

I am going to use the repo center caps the whole ones as the chrome is to bad on my center caps even for a driver in my book. trim parts are out of them now an are going to run a batch off some time this month, I could get them from other vendors but each one has just one in stock, so I will just get them when trim parts has them.- Top
