    Jack-----

Removing the console for a car with power windows is the same as removing it for a car without power windows. You have to remove the 2 phillips head screws on either side of the console and the bolt which is accessed from the center rear storage compartment. Then, carefully lift off the console. Reach underneath and remove the connectors that connect the console harness to the power window switches.

      Jack:

The bolt that holds the console in place is actually easier to access by removing the storage tray from the storage compartment behind the passenger seat. Then remove the jack and handle from the bottom of the storage well. You will then need to become a contortionist to get your hand way forward to feel where the bolt is and then devise a socket/wrench combination to work with to remove it.

If the bolt has never been replaced you will find that it is special, in that it has a 3/8 head with a shoulder.

Unless you have really small hands and really small tools you will need to remove the rear storage compartment frame and doors to get this bolt out and back in. Be very carefull when handling the compartment door frame as it is heavy with the doors attached and can crack very easily. Good luck.

FWIW, I have large hands, and I've never had to remove the frame and doors.
You just need the right tools. One of those newer ratcheting box end wrenches works very well, but I've also used a plain open end with lots of patience.

I use a 1/4" ratchet( old SK wayne with short clicks) and a 3/8 deep socket in my left hand thru the jack compartment. Takes about a minute.
