C2 Rear Quarter Trim Panel Screws

When the last owner of my 67 restored it - I believe he put all the interior trim screws in a big jar, shook it up, and them randomly picked from the jar to be installed wherever a screw was needed. One particular item of confusion I am trying to sort out is the rear quarter trim panels. I ordered a screw kit from a supplier A, but the screw descriptions did not match the contents. They tell me that the screws are correct - just incorrect descriptions. Supplier B's website however shows different screws than what I have.

Can someone with a known correct car tell me the screw finish, screw length and screw head configuration/shape of....
    1) The pair of phillips screws about 3/4 of the way up the panel, fastening it to the body
    2) The single phillips screw used to tack the carpet corner in place at the bottom.

    Glenn,

Here's a shot of my 67 coupe inner quarter with original hardware. You can see where the carpet tore/pulled away from bottom of panel. There is one phillips head screw and another with a hex head. On top, I believe the only secured point is where pinch weld holds upper panels flush against body. My weld cap has two tiny phillips head screws painted body color.

Thanks Justin, this clarifies part of my confusion.

It looks like the carpet attachment screw is a philips "washer head screw" like those used to attach the kick panel carpet (had to zoom your photo - it got a little fuzzy in the process). I have a roadster, so the upper attchment is a little different than the coupe.

I believe that the upper pair of attachment screws on the roadster should be chrome countersunk philips screws about 5/8" long - can anyone confirm?

      Thanks

All, was the carpet screw used on all 63 to 67 roadsters and coupes? If yes, where was it positioned on a roadster?

        Thanks

Nota washer head on original cars, the #6 trim screw only in the corner of the carpet.

Yes, see above. (Not completely sure about early '63's)

              Michael:

Does the screw in Justin's photo appear to you to be a #6 Trim screw (since I wouldn't recognize one by sight....)

Do you know what the pair of screw for the upper panel attachment on the roadster are supposed to be?

              Thanks
