I recently started to have an issue with my power windows. Intermittently, the driver side window will not go up. The passenger window works fine. If the driver side window is all the way down and I push the switch down, there is an electrical draw. However, when I push the switch up, there is no draw. The problem seems to occur more often when the car is hot.
Something to try. I had a power seat switch ( not on a Corvette ) that acted the same as you have mentioned and was just going to replace it. Someone told me to go to Radio Shack and ask for a spray can of tuner cleaner. It is a cleaner and lubricant for electrical use. I sprayed some in the switch and worked the switch to clean it and the switch has worked ever since.
