C2 Dynamat or B-Quiet Use in Doors

Hello,
Any adventursome folks out there ever use either sound deadening product?
Sure would be nice to tame some of those irksome rattles and road noises.

That is the sound of a fiberglass car. It is unique among cars, and anyone riding in a Corvette the first time notices that everything is different, like the sound the doors make closing, the way it goes down the road, and so on.

It is its character.

I installed Dynamat on the floor, above the rear wheels, and on the transmission tunnel. I decided not to install it in the doors and above the headliner because, as dumb as it sounds, I was concerned that the heat held or reflected by the Dynamat might affect the exterior paint if the car sits out in a hot sun.

I have never heard of such a problem.

I suppose the dynamat is a bit more effective compared to the carpet pad sold by ACC. Did you compare?
