    C2 Carpeting

My 65 Coupe needs new carpet. Al Knoch components receive high ratings from most NCRS folks on this site. I have also read postings that report difficulties installing Al Knoch components. Is there anyone that makes high quality after market carpets that are easy to install? Or is it just the "nature of the beast".

Which padding (heat/sound surpression)is recommended under new carpeting?

    Thanks,

    Dwight

    Re: C2 Carpeting

    Dwight,

No experience with 65 carpets but I doubt if any manufacture's carpet will install "easier" unless it is made from lighter weight
(read "elcheapo") material. I believe Auto Custom Carpets and Al Knock are two of the best.

Don't know about the correct underlayment, but you might try the archives for more information.

    good luck,
    tc
