I got in my car today to start it an when I went to trun the key on I heard a noise coming from under the pass dash an the light was blinking. I had the alarm on. when it was doing this noise. it only does it when the alarm is on. the alarm has not worked in a while, also for a few min my clock started working, an it to has not worked in some time, when I trun off the alarm I dont get that weak buzzing under the dash, just when the alarm is on an I start the car. also the clock has stoped again, any thoughts?

now I just came back from trying it again, now one thing I left off in my earlier post is the hood is open. when it is closed I dont get the buzzing under the dash just when the hood is popped.

That's because there's a pin switch for the hood that triggers the alarm.
