C3 Foam Insulator Pads

There are 2 cushions 1 on each side between the frame and the body at the front of each rocker panel.Originally per the JG they were white.Over time and use they are discolored dark orange and,black in color.Could be from the blackout operation.Has anyone tried to restore,or clean these pieces still left on the car.To remove them would probably result in destroying them and I do not know of any repo sources who fabricates them.I would think it would be a piece that could be forgotton by some during a ground up restoration.Any suggestions?

Dr. Rebuild has reproductions of the pieces to which you refer. I'm not so sure that the originals were white, though. My recollection is that they were a medium to dark gray color. Some may have been white, though. I doubt that color was included in the engineering specs for these pieces.
