C 1 Transmission Numbers

The transmission in my '58 has a T10 - 1C Case and a T10 - 7D Tailshaft. The stamped numbers are WM42-2 & A132522 will somebody please tell me the real application of the unit. By the way, ebay has a listing of a bellhousing like my '60 for $20. It seems as though there is not much of a market for rere bell housings.

The numbers would indicate that you have a 1962 T-10 which could have been originally used for any 1962 application.

The 1960 Corvette bellhousing is the least common of all Corvette bellhousings. Of course, it's only real value is to someone needing such a part. As far as the eBay listing is concerned, is the $20 the CURRENT price or is it the CLOSING price. There's often a big difference.

W=Warner

M=December

4= 4th day of the month

2= 1962

2= second shift.

Serial number indicates a non-corvette. This would have come in a 1963 GM passenger car of some sort.

A 1960 bellhousing for $20 would be about 10X less than market last time I checked...
