    Rob-----

It may be a quick question, but there's no quick answer. I get the numbers and availability information from a great variety of sources ranging from my 'noggin to AIMs to old P&A Catalogs to "other references".

Rob, I asked Joe that once and he said that it was about 60%"noggen" and 40% from reference material.

I just wish my memory was that good!

Although I don't often get involved in C3, I know for sure where I'd go if I did need technical info or part number assistance. Mr Lucia is, without question, the number one source, as far as I'm concerned. I don't know where he finds the time but I do know that we all appreciate his dedication and willingness to share. Thanks Joe!

              Re: Joe Lucia

Here, here, I second that. If I ever get to meet Joe and any of you guys at say an NCRS show in Florida, January 2006 or Carlisle this year, I'd like to buy you a drink. Many times when I am at the end of my rope and have exhausted my patience with a system I immediately think of the board. I am indebted to you all. A while back there was a thread about parts counters being less than desirable of late (ie the Auto Zones etc of the world). The board fills the knowledge gap and there is about a zero percent chance that someone hasn't "been there, done that" before. Thanks.

                  Re: Joe Lucia

Realizing that knowledge is power, I began collecting a lot of books and manuals from dealer auctions 30 years ago. However, even with those I have, Joe usually surpasses anything I have and I have turned to him many times after chasing numbers and parts in books.

In fact, last night I emailed him about truck parts, and as usual, he had information. Wasn't what I wanted to hear , but he had information I didn't have.

                  Thanks, Joe, for your time.

                  Mike
