    69 interior leak.

i posted a messege about a week ago about my interior leaking. well this weekend ive got the car up on ramps and im looking for the hoses i was told were probably plugged in the windshield wiper tray, causeing water to come back into the car.

well im not finding the hoses. ive poured water down the trough area and all im seeing is the water runnnig down the inside of the fenders.

Lance I don't think anyone told you about any hoses being plugged in the windshield wiper tray. Anyone that knows the 68-72 Corvettes knows that there are no hoses. There is a drain hole that the water comes out of. Without going home to look, the hole as I remember is runs lengthwise and about 1/2 inch wide. Does your car have factory air?

I missed you first post but there are no hoses in the cowl area. There are several areas in the wiper tray that are prone to leak though. All the seams should be resealed. I have used a putty knife with black plastic roofing sealer. Properly done it looks original and will stop those troublesome leaks

i went back and looked at the previous messege and i was wrong, it was a draining hole that was mentioned.

and no, my car doesnt have factory air.

i still cant see the hole though. i can look down in the wiper tray and see the big hole that everything pours down, and when i look up all im seeing is the water thats running down the inside of the fender.

Not sure about C3's, but C2's have a drain hole in the bottom of each side plenum cavity about 2" rearward of the #1 body bolt.

Same difference on C-3's John. There is a cavity that runs down the side of the cowl. Often it will get stopped up with leaves and other debris.
