      Dennis,

I would look for a restorer other than Fred. I had mine restored by him and it lasted only 1800 miles. I've tried to contact him via telephone, won't return my calls and via email, doesn't respond to those either. I would think that his work should last longer than 1800 miles. I guess it would be fine for a trailer queen but for a Corvette that is driven, I'd spend the $110 for a new one from GM.

You'll be happy with the quality of the work Fred does....but add five months onto the time he tells you it will take to get it back before you decide to send it.

Spoke with Fred couple of weeks ago about status of my clutch. Fred said he had experienced a problem with his bearing supplier as well as with his plater. Both matters resolved now but he is backlogged big time.
            Best regards,
            Charlie
