53 vin plate

I have a line on somebody who supposedly has a 53 VIN plate from a scrapped car (scrapped many years ago). Who is keeping track of where the '53 cars are?

The 53-55 Registry has even more 53s listed. I've got a copy, if you post the VIN, I can tell you if its listed. The registry can contact the owner.

that is, if the car has since come back to life. If not, one could fetch the VIN plate, an Alabama bill of sale, an early 54 project car, and be well on his way to a handsome profit! (just kidding).
