    fiberglass color

I'm having a bit of a time determining the color of fiberglass on my '64. At first glance the original fiberglass looks light grey in color. But, looking further it would almost seem to be an off-white color, as well. Corvette Image lists replacement panels available in either white, or grey. Does anyone know how 'grey' or 'off-white' the original fiberglass color is on an early production '64 .. ? .. Trying to match as closely as possible to the original fiberglass color.

    Re: fiberglass color

64s for the most part were a light greenish gray. There was some variance throughout the year, but generally light gray. When sand blasted and exposed, the glass sometimes takes on a chalky white cast. That is probably what you are seeing. Wet a clean spot with water and you will see the color better.

Spot wetting the fiberglass helped determine it's light grey in color. Thanks, Wayne ..
