I have a 1960 vette. I have the convertable and hard top also. When I bought it a long long time ago. I was told by the previous owner that the hard top was from a 1958 corvette. The interior color of the hard top is red, and in a waffle pattern. Does this automatically mean that it came from a car with the same color interior as the inside color of my hard top? If so, what other interior hard top colors were there inn 1958-1960?

Waffle patter is actually 56-57. 58 and 59-60 were similar. All of those years the hardtop headliner corresponded to the interior color. 61-62 had the same pattern and grain as the 59-60, but all 61-62 headliners were white.
In the corners of the side windows and rear window will be a date stamping indicating month/year of the production of the windows, which was pretty close to production of the top. Tht should give you a pretty good idea what you have.
