I am refurbishing my seats and have badly corroded seat tracks on one of the seats. I was looking to remove the tracks and can remove the outside track very easily by moving the lock into the slot in the upper part of the track. However, the outside track (closest to the lever) appears to require some grinding of the pressed fits at the rocker/spring mechanism to allow additional movement of the lock up and into the upper track. Could anyone confirm this? In other words, it looks like some grinding and reassembly is required to remove the track adjusters and reinstall them on these seats?
