convertible wanted

Does anyone have for sale or know of a 1980-1982 Corvette converted into a convertible that is for sale? I am only interested in a "real" 80-82 car made into a convertible, not a 74-75 convertible with a 1980 up front end.

Since this is the tech section I guess I should say that I will be looking for one for flight judging and have several tech questions concerning the St. Louis/Bowling Green build of these "rare" cars.

Any help would be appreciated.

------Maybe I really have been living under a rock as some have told me, but I have never heard of the factory making 80-82 Corvette Converts either production or prototype. Many people (some qualified and some not) have built conversion cars after the fact. The Duntov converts come to mind, but if you know something I dont know please enlighten me. No sarcasm intended here as the factory has done stuff none of us know about, but I just have never heard of this.............Bill S

You are correct! The factory DID NOT make a convertible in 1980-1982. I am looking for a 1980-1982 Corvette that has been converted into a convertible.

I put the quip about judging so I could say that selfish solicitation for a car could be posted on this board. My interest in finding an 1980-1982 Corvette convertible is real. My quip about judging is total sarcasm.
