c1- 1958 engine black out paint

Hi - does the engine black out paint look like a "euro" finish. Is there a make or paint code for it? I know it is not flat or satin but inbetween so what is the best product to use? Thanks in advance.

Krylon 1613 is what i believe most people use. You can get it at most Wal-Marts. The #s 1613 will be on the bar code sticker on the back of the can.
John Deere Blitz Black has also been mentioned. The old Blitz Black number has been changed to TY25311 as of three or four years ago.

I like the Krylon it just seems to spray, cover and look nicer. Plus it dries fast. Rob

I wonder how close the colour would be if you mixed a can of flat black with the same amount of gloss black then used it in a spray gun ??? I've been told it's real close.

Adding to the Krylon 1613, are John Deere Blitx and Rustoleum Satin 7777.
