    C1 Battery

I need a battery for short term for my 60. I'm not gonna have it judged in the near future. Any recommendations for what I should use?

You can buy a Johnson Controls OE replacement Group 24 at Costco and most auto parts stores for about $50. Same battery - just different house labels that you can peel off to yield a plain black battery. With good maintenance (keeping it charged and never completely discharging it) it should last at least seven years.

You'll get a healthy partial credit for any maintenance free/sealed battery from AC Delco. Shop around; they're out there. The Chevy dealer at the bottom of my foothill is having a summer sale with prices in the $39.95 range!
