ok, I come to you, the experts (even though many of you can be found on other Corvette forums I haunt, this place is sort of holy). Here's picture linked from another forum (not even Corvette, but even they were excited) where one of the many cars in a private collection (that other site discussion, and additional photos, is here: http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=672487 ) was this 68 L88 still bearing what appears to be its original window sticker. What do you all have to say, is this a well-known 68 L88, an unknown find, or something else?

One of the comments is that the garage and cars were won in a divorce settlement and are owned by a now single woman. Ahhhh, I think I'm in love!- Top

Could be Joe DeMesys old car that was in the special collection a few years ago. His car was a nice original car with about 20K miles on it.- Top

Re: Mothballed 68 L88?
Hello Jack,
This car was shown at the 1988 Bloomington Gold Special Collection. It is the only known Cordovan coupe of the 80 cars produced todate.
The window sticker is a reproduction.
The car Lou Groebner ownes is Corvette Bronze coupe VIN 11,031.
Check the view user profile of cars that I am researching. We live near each other, contact me. I am the North East Chapter Judging Chairman. Drew- Top
