Vacuum Hose

the vacuum hose that comes off the check valve then goes into the firewall, that is connected to the Tee what is the best way to put a new one in? can you just push it through the rubber groument? are is it a bitch to change out? any tips, thanks

Spray the engine compartment end of the existing hose with WD40 to lubricate it and pull it through the firewall grommet. Now, lube the OD of the replacement hose with grease, WD40 or vasoline and diligently push it through the grommet until you can catch enough hose in the cockpit with needle nose pliers and pull the rest through....
