This past weekend we had the pleasure of observing the C6R race team in action at Lime Rock Park race track. Here is part of that experience. When you get to the video – TURN UP the volume on this one too.

I may try. It’s only 60 miles and never congested with traffic my way through Litchfield county. I’d like to see some older Vettes being used. I did a half a lap Saturday and another on Sunday. I’ll put on a non official Camel Rider weenie roast if we go. But you gotta show your NCRS ID card for admission.

PS They have a 20,000 lb limit on the infield bridge and I did not want to test it with 28,000. So they escort you from the back straight to the chicane, down the no name hill, the straight, the esses and then down to the beginning of pit lane. So on the way in you drive in the oipposite direction as races are held. On the way out you drive the same as the race cars. We slowly made it up no name hill, but I should have come into the bottom curve at a better apex and speed. It was allot more exhilarating watching the C6 do that hill.
I thought I recognized him from attendance at other Corvette meets. They were intently looking at what appeared to be some fiberglass? panel? That panel looked a darker shade of yellow than the actual #3 or #4 C6R cars, so I was curious where it went. I think there was even another larger piece on the race deck.
