The interior lights go on inside my car as I am driving.. I checked the switch in the door jam and it seem like it is trying to shut of the lights because when I push it in the lights go half dim.. I also noticed that when I pull closed or push open the astro vent knob down under the dash they seem to flicker.. also does any one know what the crome clip is for that is built into the front of the bucket seats Thanks in advance Jack

Re: C-3 1970 coupe interior lights
Jack,
Seems like you have an interference and/or ground/exposed wire somewhere beneath in the left kick panel that is causing the flickering of the interior lights. You need to remove the panel and find the problem. Look for the orange wire to be somewhere in the path of the vent door down there and re-route it so it is not interfering with the door operation.
The chrome knob at the front of the seat is to adjust the seat forward and backward. It should be spring-loaded to lock the seat in the tracks.Tony- Top

The chrome clip on the front of the seats are to hold the seat belt.I had a problem with my courtesy light's and finally changed out the switches and that was it. It was an intermitent problem like your's. Tom- Top

Re: C-3 1970 Seat belt clip
Yes, TOM's right, the CLIP is for your seat belt when not in use and not clipped to the shoulder strap. Sometimes, you need to adjust the seat belt to fit neatly in the clip. Sorry, I believe the clip is actually stainless steel, that's why I thought you meant the chrome ball.Tony- Top
