1972 BB AC fan

I need a correct dated tipped 7 blade fan for a 72 BB AC vette. Any suggestions on where to find one?

This is a very difficult fan blade assembly to find. It is a Corvette-only piece and it was used only for big blocks with C-60 during 1971-73. The part number is GM #3992095 and that number will be usually be found stamped on one of the blades. It can easily be mistaken for a GM #3969926 or GM #3993889 (the 1970 with 454 and C-60 fans) unless one checks the number, checks the bolt pattern (3" bolt circle for 1970 fans; 3-1/4" bolt circle for 1971+ fans), or checks the center hole size (2-3/8" hole for 1970 fans; 2-5/8" for 1971+ fans). Although the blade configuration is similar between all of the fans, the 1970 and 1971-73 are NOT interchangeable unless one changes other parts, too.

Expect to pay a considerable sum for this fan blade assembly. Like $500+
