I'm looking to replace what are probably the original spark plug wires on my 66 small block, which was built in April 66. The wires I have are printed with "Parkard Radio TV R S LR 4-Q-65". The reproduction replacement wires listed for my VIN say "Packard TV R Suppression 1-Q-66". Are the ones I have on the car probably correct? Thanks

Yes, the LR stands for "low resistsnce" (in relative terms) I am looking at a set as we speak, and the correct wording is "PACKARD RADIO TVRS LR 2-Q-66" on this particular set. (NOS in the original White/Black/Army green boxes)Bill Clupper #618- Top

Either is possible. If you have the originals, and they check good, it's a nice touch as everyone knows there are no 4th qtr reproductions.Bill Clupper #618- Top
