    R59 Delco

I replaced my new over the counter battery on my 1967-427 with a R 59 Energizer 12V-Delco Battery (add acid) from Restoration Battery. The amp. gage does not go below 20A.I have a 80A. gage (should be 60A.)
With the old OTC battery it would sit at 0. Anybody else have this or other experience with this Battery??? Thanks, Don

When you first fill the battery with acid and water, you need to FULLY charge it before installing it in the car. If she's not fully charged initially, you can run for HOURS on the highway before you achieve steady-state conditions...
