..........fluid capacity does not appear in the Owners' Manual, or in the Shop Manual. Does anybody know the value? Also, is there a difference in the capacity between the model 36 and the model 44?
Thank you, that is the best response that I have gotten to date. I have posted this same question on a couple other "C4 friendly" forums, but have gotten back no valid information.
For some strange reason, I have to believe that there is no (easily available) published data on this. Because there is no drain plug, I only want to ensure that I remove all of the old lube with my suction tool. The only way to verify this, is to measure the removed fluid.
I will use your "about 1.5 quarts" estimate as a guide. The next step, will be to contact Dana-Spicer Corp. for information. If I have no luck there, yours will be the sole basis.
