I have a Signal Stat-Stat #145 on the top and LL in the bottom right corner. It's 3 lamp flasher with no Dot Reference number. Its silver and metal. The only flashers I've seen for mid years seem to be round. This flasher is rectangle. Anyone know if this is the correct flasher for a 65 with no backup lights. It matches all the numbers in the judgung guide. If its not for a 65 any idea what this flasher is for.
Thanks Mike
If it is in the Judging guide list then its correct. That flasher is also listed in the 67 Judging guide. It will be rectangular in shape. The 323 yellow plastic flasher (round) is used also. Neither will have DOT printed on them....
Mike - GM used two suppliers back then. One was Signal-Stat and had a retangular cover and the other was Tung-Sol who use the round can (metal and in 1966 the plastic cover came in and both metal and plastic were available). The flasher you should have is the 3-lamp flasher and the Signal-Stat #145 fits the bill. An optional flasher for that application in 1965 would be the Tung-Sol 323 with the metal can. In either case the flasher would not be a DOT flasher. Pete
