Delco 24-7YR Battery for C2

In preparation for a chapter NCRS judging, I have purchased the above battery. Wouldnt ya know it!, when you but the battery hold down over it there is not enough clearance for the cable connectors...yikes...

Yes, the hold down is a repro..so a little touch with a grinding wheel should do it....

Yes, this is crazy, but those Delco top stickers are annoying! Ya think if I yank em off, the judges will care?

It's ok to remove any stickers PROVIDING that the battery can otherwise be easily and definitively identifed as a Delco. If not, you'll lose the partial judging credit aplicable to Delco-brand replacement batteries.
