C2 Oil Filter Canister Restoration

Members,
I would like to have the oil filter canister for my '65 restored per the TIM & JG. Can someone recommend a person to perform this task? I would like an authentic silk screen process, not the masking process that some use.

Hi Gene,
I had Ken Hansen at "OrinDales" do mine and was well pleased. He also machines the bolt inside the filter for a snap ring so you can easily get it apart for cleaning if needed.

Ken has done 3 cans for me and they are beautiful. I have no dout that they will judge 100%.

Gene,

Don't worry about how neat and complete the white stencil turns out, I've seen originals and there wasn't much care taken with regard to the application of the stencil.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your advice and suggestions. My original canister has some of the original screen printing intact. I figured I should get all originality points and perhaps take a 2 or 3 point hit on condition. I'll probably send it to Ken during the winter months.

Gene, I'd save that original one and buy a used one for restoration. They are only original once.
