I have a stuck poa valve on my 71 and I want to replace it.. The lower hose into it from the compressor is removable however the tube off the top of it will not screw out. Does anyone have any ideas for removal without wrecking anything. Any ideas appreciated.
Thx

Ralph how do you know your POA valve is stuck? The reason I ask is that the technitions at a Chevrolet garage were wrong in what they said was needing replacement in my 70's air conditioning system.
Thx to Jim Trekell for questioning if the poa valve was indeed defective. Another evaluation revealed that the poa was NOT indeed the culprit. The problem was excessive moisture in the system. After purging with nitrogen backwards through the system new coolant was added and it works perfect. Thx Again Jim
