    Brake/fuel lines

I am currently in the re-assembly stage of my '66 frame. Are any thread sealants required/recommended when installing the brake/fuel lines?

    Re: Brake/fuel lines

    Gary-----

No thread sealants at all are required, necessary, or advisable. Fuel and brake lines DO NOT SEAL at the threads. The threaded fitting merely holds the pressure of the flared tubing end of the fuel/brake line to the SEAT of the receptor fitting. The "seal" is effectuated by the flared tubing-to-receptor-fitting conforming interface.
